Euthalia
Euthalia (2014)
The title of the piece is Euthalia, which means "flower, bloom". After dropping out of conservatory a second time, and a 3 year depression of not writing any works, I wrote this piece. The thought of a blooming flower is as close as I could imagine to my own feelings infused into the work, as well as the process through writing it, of coming to my greatest love of music again.
