I’m honored to have been selected for the 2026 New Music on the Bayou Summer Festival taking place June 3–6, 2026 in Monroe and Ruston, Louisiana. Although I won’t be able to attend in person from Boston this year, I submitted my music to the festival in the hope of sharing my work with new performers and audiences, and I’m deeply grateful for the opportunity.
As part of the festival, musicians will be performing my piano and clarinet work Euthalia on Thursday, June 4, 2026 at the Biedenharn Museum & Gardens, 2000 Riverside Drive, Monroe, LA 71201.
The festival brings together composers and performers from across the country through several days of rehearsals, concerts, and artistic exchange in a variety of community spaces. I look forward to hearing the musicians’ interpretation of the piece and seeing how the work takes on new life through performance.
If you are in the Louisiana area, I encourage you to attend and support the performers, organizers, and fellow composers participating in the festival.
